Patting Myself on the Back

I can't resist doing it.  I don't think I've ever felt like I've contributed something new to the body of knowledge of mathematics before, but I think I might have now.  This post modifies an obscure proof I found in a PDF hidden on a long web page (linked in the article) so that it doesn't need trigonometry.  The proof is one from triangle geometry (my recent favorite topic), and I haven't found any proof of this fact that's as simple either on the web or in any books.  I will happily give credit here if I'm wrong, but I suspect that my proof is among the simplest to follow (for non-triangle-geometry-experts) that exists for the theorem.

To add to the comment above, who knows we could be worshiping the number 1, and we could still be in the first year the world was ever made because 2009 = 1 and if I can figure this out, no doubt Isaac Newton has, and I think Isaac Newton is playing a trick on us saying the world will end in the year 2060, because the year 2060= the years 1,2,3,4,5... so Isaac Newton doesn't know when the world will end, he just wrote some random number, 2060, when really that means any number.

Polymath, Upperschool kids who take Calculus say that .9 repeating is wrong, but they use terms I don't know, because I'm in Algebra, they say that .9 repeating does not equal 1, because 1/3 can't be added in decimal form to the decimal form of 2/3 because its infinite, I feel something is wrong their, tell me what to do. How I come back in the arguement
